This season marks a special milestone: the 25th anniversary of the Young New Yorkers’ Chorus. For a quarter century, YNYC has been a haven for young singers, a champion of emerging composers, and a vibrant presence in New York City’s choral community.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 in honor of 25 years of music-making. Your gift will help us:

• Foster a thriving community of over 130 singers in their 20s and 30s.

• Commission bold new works through our Daniel Thompson Memorial Competition for Young Composers, amplifying the voices of emerging artists under 40.

• Share innovative performances with New Yorkers and beyond, spotlighting diverse voices and stories.

• Inspire the next generation of singers and composers to create, connect, and lead.

As we celebrate this milestone year, we are more committed than ever to building a lasting legacy of music that enriches communities and transforms lives through the projects and goals that will guide YNYC into the next 25 years, including:

• Producing a studio album

• Regional and national touring

• Performing at bigger, more renowned venues

• Additional commissioning!
